Kristine Leschper interview [full conversation]
for paid subscribers
Hello denizens of Substack. Today we got another full interview for the archives.
As mentioned here previously, I’m going to occasionally use this newsletter space to archive full versions of interviews I’ve done for The Creative Independent. (Sometimes my conversations run long, and a lot gets cut!) Today’s entry is the third interview I did for them. (You can read the edited-and-condensed TCI version here.) It’s a convo with my friend, the great musician and artist Kristine Leschper.
Paid subscribers can read it behind the paywall. Yes I’m trying to entice you to become a paid subscriber! This, along with making music and giving lessons and whatnot, is what I do for a living! I’m going to do my best to make it worth your while by making subscriber-exclusives like this really cool.
A note about these transcripts: the versions I share here will still be edited, but much more faithfully to the original audio recording; the full conversation will be presented very closely to how it actually sounded, whether that means there’s inside jokes or whatever. Sometimes they’ll be long: I’ve had hour-long conversations that had to be condensed into a five-to-ten minute read, and I’m not doing that here. Let’s go long and deep!!
